July moodboard: Flow

Welcome to the July moodboard. ⠀

F L O W⠀
⠀
‘Flow’ was the word I chose for 2020. Somewhere along the way though, I completely lost my flow. I was working nonstop, I was on the edge of burnout. I was hustling. Hard. ⠀
⠀
I set the intention of ‘flow’ so that I wouldn’t be pushing so hard to make things happen. Instead, I’d allow space. Space for good things to come my way. And it would be a beautiful balance of push and pull, give and take. I had read ‘Life in Flow’ by Kate Kendall and just loved every bit of it. She talked about the premise of slowing down and sparking joy. And that book had inspired me to set this intention.

Being in flow is about listening to cues from the universe and surfing those waves. ⠀
⠀
It’s a collaboration. It’s about trusting that what will come will come. And when it does, it will be amazing. It’s about surrendering to the process and being open to receive. It’s about slowing down and making the space for it. And meeting it with a heart-centred approach. Feeling into my body. And knowing that it’s right for me. Or saying no if it’s not. ⠀

So with a number of projects fallen through, some potentials on the horizon and a beautiful second collection in the works, I’m excited to let things flow. I will be a magnet for abundance and good things. ⠀

With the new financial year upon us, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to reconnect to my word for 2020. ⠀
⠀
I want July to feel light and airy, breathing fresh air into the beautiful projects I’m working on. And to blow a gentle breeze to promote my current collection. And allow my next collection in the works to glide along. ⠀

July will also see my nude photo shoot to base the next collection of drawings off. I have a beautiful bunch of women who will be posing for me. And that there is the perfect example of flow, where I haven’t had to put a call out at all, but the most amazing women have come to me. ⠀

I’m excited to take you all behind the scenes. I think I’ll also be sharing the theme of the next collection this month also! Who knows? I’m going with the flow! ⠀
