September moodboard: Groundbreaking

Meet September’s moodboard ‘Groundbreaking’.

With Spring now here, I really wanted to do florals but of course I had Miranda Priestley’s voice in my head… “Florals for spring? Groundbreaking.”

But still, I had to.

There is a reason florals are so popular. They have the power to brighten your day. They carry meaning. And pass on messages.

I think it’s beautiful that we draw and paint them, attempting to capture their magic. And then wear them as prints on our clothes.

I also saw It Ends With Us last month and while there was a lot of controversy around the promotion of the film, I absolutely loved it. I loved the book and then I found myself just soaking up every minute of the movie. I absolutely adored the visuals, the styling of Lily’s flower shop and of course, the fashion.

So we are embracing all things floral this month.

Get ready for flower patterns, flower art prints and flower modelling photos (expertly snapped by my boyfriend this month!).
