August moodboard: Out of the Blue

Welcome to the mood for August

OUT OF THE BLUE

With the last month of winter upon us, I wanted to go for a bit of a winter wonderland vibe. That feeling of a cold day with soft rays shining on trees with bare branches. Wearing a cosy knit and chasing the sun’s warmth. 

This month for me is about stripping back to my bare self. Ready for spring to come and to blossom new beginnings. 

I can’t stand the cold winter but I’m choosing to embrace it and the season it represents in my life. 

So this month I’ll be creating patterns with beautiful soft blues and browns, with dainty flower and dried leaves illustrations, inspired by a cosy winter with spring just around the corner.
