March moodboard: Cleopatra

Welcome to March’s moodboard 

C L E O P A T R A 

She is a powerful one this month. I can feel so much strong feminine energy in my life at the moment. I’m going through a lot of transitions, particularly with Heidi Lou Design. 

I’m taking a step back back to focus on the two courses I’m doing at the moment. One is learning to wholesale my art prints through stockists and the other is to create and license surface pattern designs. 

I can feel myself preparing to step into bigger shoes and grow HLD even more. So I’m calling on some of that goddess power. 

So this month my personal projects will be inspired by strong females in history and visuals such as Egyptian hieroglyphs, touches of gold, sun rays, slithering snakes, the eye of Horus and neutral colours with pops of turquoise. 

The theme is very fitting also for the month that holds International Women’s Day! 

I plan on really expanding my moods more each month and releasing pattern designs, content and photographs to go with the theme, as well as my monthly limited print. So let me know what you think as I post more!
